The Green Platform is a new initiative that gives companies and research
institutes funding for research and innovation-driven green growth. The purpose
with the initiative is to create green jobs and a more sustainable future.

Ocean Sun is part of two different consortiums that have received funding under
the initiative.

The first consortium is led by Scatec and has been awarded NOK 79 million to
develop the world's first large-scale hybrid hydro and floating solar power
plant. At the same time, the partners will develop a unique platform for
planning, dimensioning, design, optimization, and operation of hybrid power
plants. In addition to Ocean Sun and Scatec, Prediktor, SINTEF Energi, IFE and
Solenergiklyngen are also part of the consortium.

The second consortium, AluGreen, is led by Norsk Hydro and will explore,
develop, and pilot high value circular Aluminum (Al) products, based on
recyclable aluminum and renewable energy. The total grant for the consortium is
NOK 77 million. Ocean Sun is part of a work page focusing on Subsea cables for
energy distribution together with Hydro, Nexans, Metalco, Statnett and the
research institutions Sintef and NTNU.

About Ocean Sun:

By combining Norwegian maritime expertise and knowledge within photovoltaics,
Ocean Sun has developed an innovation that offers a bold solution to our global
energy needs. The patented technology is based on solar modules mounted on
hydro-elastic membranes and offers cost and performance benefits not seen in any
other floating PV system today. With offices in Oslo, Singapore and Shanghai,
Ocean Sun is embarking on its vision to be the world's leading technology
provider of floating solar.

About the Green Platform:

The Green platform provides companies and research institutes with financial
support for research and innovation-driven green growth and restructuring.

Through the Green Platform, the Norwegian government wants to trigger more and
faster investments from companies in green, sustainable solutions and products.
The initiative will strengthen Norwegian exports and value creation and enable
the necessary green restructuring and create green growth. It will also make
Norwegian companies and research institutions better equipped to meet the
opportunities in the EU's research and innovation program Horizon Europe Green
Deal.

The purpose is to bolster opportunities for green value creation through larger
projects. These should cover the entire value chain from research and knowledge
production to testing, commercialization and industrialization of sustainable,
green products and services.

Based on 44 project applications, The Research Council, Innovation Norway, and
Siva have allocated almost one billion NOK to eleven projects.
