Airbus said it agreed to buy French cybersecurity company Quarkslab as it continues to boost its security credentials.

The French company said the planned investment is part of its strategy to develop sovereign cybersecurity capabilities in France and boost its position in the wider European cybersecurity sector. The company has already bought Infodas in Germany in 2024, and plans to buy Ultra Cyber Ltd in the U.K.

The transaction is expected to close in the course of 2026, Airbus said.

Quarkslab was founded in 2011 and has roughly 100 employees. It develops solutions that help protect critical assets, data and users from cyberattacks.
