Communications Services Down on Retreat From Risk -- Communications Services Roundup

Communications-services companies ticked down, as traders retreated from high-risk sectors.

The SPDR Select Sector Communications Services exchange-traded fund, which tracks the communications services industry group of the S&P 500, slipped into the red for the year to date.

Warner Bros. Discovery recommended its shareholders reject Paramount Skydance's amended hostile bid for the company, saying an existing deal with Netflix is stronger.
