Jane Clukey was on an American Airlines flight 1863 returning from a holiday with her husband when she witnessed NASA's Space Launch System (SLS) rocket launch from the air plane window.

Reuters verified the location from the shape of the coastline and the road layout seen in the video matched satellite imagery of the area.

The date when the video was recorded was verified by the original video file's metadata.

Flight tracking data confirmed that the flight was over Florida within sight of the launch site at the time the video was recorded.
