On the broad Wall Street market, the S&P 500 index closed Tuesday up 2.91 percent at 6,528.52. Following the Stockholm Stock Exchange close at 5:30 p.m., the S&P 500 index rose by approximately 1.5 percentage points.

The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite index closed 3.83 percent higher at 21,590.63. After the Stockholm market close, the Nasdaq Composite index increased by approximately 2.0 percentage points.

In futures trading today, the S&P 500 future is up 0.16 percent, while the Nasdaq 100 future is gaining 0.30 percent.
