François Jackow to join Schneider Electric's Board of Directors
Schneider Electric has announced that its Board of Directors has decided to propose the appointment of François Jackow, CEO of Air Liquide, as a director, subject to approval at the Annual General Meeting on May 7.
Having joined the French industrial gases group in 1993, he held various international leadership positions before joining the Executive Committee in 2014, and subsequently becoming CEO of Air Liquide in June 2022.
Schneider Electric specified that François Jackow will be classified as an independent director and will join the Human Capital and Remunerations Committee, should his appointment be confirmed by the shareholders at the May AGM.
He will bring to the Board his expertise in industrial manufacturing, energy, and technology, as well as his experience in driving both strategic and operational transformations.
Mr. François Jackow is a Chairman at Air Liquide Middle East SA, an Executive Vice President at Air Liquide SA, a Chairman at Air Liquide Eastern Europe SA, a Chairman at Air Liquide Santé (International) SA and an Executive Vice President at Air Liquide Tunisie SA. Mr. Jackow was previously employed as a President & Chief Executive Officer by AIR LIQUIDE Japan Ltd.
