Hashimoto Sogyo Holdings Co., Ltd. (TSE:7570) signed a basic agreement to acquire Daiwa Co., Ltd. and Mori Koukan, Ltd. from Tsutomu Mukai and Toshihiro Mori on July 28, 2016. Hashimoto will acquire Daiwa from Tsutomu Mukai, and will acquire Mori Koukan from Toshihiro Mori. Share transfer contracts are expected to complete in August 2016. On completion, Daiwa and Mori Koukan will become subsidiaries of Hashimoto. The deal was resolved by the Board of Directors on July 28, 2016. The deals are expected to close by October 1, 2016. The deals are now expected to close by October 3, 2016.
