Perenco Petróleo e Gás do Brasil Ltda agreed to acquire Cherne and Bagre fields, located in shallow waters in the Campos Basin from Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. - Petrobras (BOVESPA:PETR4) for $10 million on April 17, 2024. The amount to be received by Petrobras from the transaction is $10 million, of which $1 million shall be paid on the date the contract is signed for the assignment of the assets and the remainder at the closing of the transaction, subject to the adjustments provided for in the contract. The Executive Board of Petróleo Brasileiro approved the sale of its entire stake Cherne and Bagre fields.
